Fairest of the Fair

There is nothing like a great day at the fair! We enjoyed a great day at the San Diego Fair.

We watched pig and turkey races.

We ate chocolate covered bacon, a zucchini weenie, hotdog with potatoes, corn on the cob, clam chowder in a bread bowl, and cinnamon rolls covered in pecan and pie cherries.

Our darling 3-year-old will try any amusement park ride. Daddy joined her for the log ride at Knott's Berry Farm. He showed her the drop off before they got in line and she never balk
once. We suspect this photo tells the story best (click on the photo for a close up.) When she got off, she was all smiles and declared, "Just a lil' bit scary!"

Jinji calls it "Cation"

Mommy & Daddy are calling it a "StayCation". We spending time just north of us at the Aquarium of the Pacific and Knott's Berry Farm.

Open House

Jinji's school held it's annual open house and kindergarten graduation. We enjoyed exploring Jinji's classroom, socializing with other parents, and musical performances by each class. Jinji's class (Ms. Emily's class) sang "Do Re Mi" and "All I Really Need".

Jinji's First Ballet Recital

Jinji's first ballet recital was this past Saturday. Her group was second to last to perform and has every group came to stage, Mommy got more nervous but Jinji kept saying "me next?". She was ready to go.

Jinji's favorite animals are hippos. Here she is visiting the hippos in the San Diego Zoo.
